The game in Nassau now has its matchup.

Who’s playing in the 2018 Bahamas Bowl?

It’ll be Toledo and FIU. Their matchup was announced the Sunday after Thanksgiving, making it the first bowl matchup of the year to get formally locked in on both sides.

Toledo (7-5, 3-5 in MAC)

The Rockets’ two-year run as the No. 1 offense in the MAC came to a close, as Ohio outpaced them slightly this year. But they were still really good at moving the ball and putting up points, despite losing ultra-prolific QB Logan Woodside after 2017. They scored at least 45 points in four of their last five games, going over 50 three of those times. They’re likely to be an enjoyable watch under coach Jason Candle.

FIU (8-4, 6-2 in Conference USA)

Butch Davis’ Panthers have one of the best offenses in Conference USA and a decent defense to go with it. Quarterback James Morgan is a star, leading C-USA in both passer rating and yards per attempt with a 26-to-7 TDs-to-interceptions ratio. FIU does running back by committee, but senior Napoleon Maxwell is the main guy and really efficient.

Where is the Bowl?

Thomas Robinson Stadium in Nassau, Bahamas. The game has been hosted here since its inception in 2014.

When is the Bowl, and how can I watch it?

4:00 p.m. ET on Friday, Dec. 21, on ESPN and WatchESPN
